David E. Drew, JD

David serves as Trust Officer out of our New York office and specializes in administering guardianships/conservatorships and special/supplemental needs trusts. He prioritizes client relationships by listening and gathering information to better understand the specific needs and goals for each client and helps guide them through the administrative process. David enjoys working with families to create a financial plan that works for them within the applicable trust agreement. He has experience with various fiduciary account types, including irrevocable and revocable trusts, IRAs and investment management accounts.

Prior to joining Midland Trust Company, David spent 20 years between two major financial institutions as Trust Officer. He is a graduate of Colgate University and obtained his Juris Doctor degree from St. John’s University School of Law. He completed the New York State Banker’s Association Trust School, Estate School and Tax School and has served as a member of the Planned Giving Committee at Colgate University for over a decade. David is active in his community, volunteers with youth sports, and is the current President of the Board of Directors for Wilton Little League.
