Mobile Wallet is a convenient way to pay with your Midland debit cards. If your phone is in your hands, so are all of your eligible cards so you can carry less and get more. It’s fast, convenient and secure.

With Mobile Wallet, use your smartphone, tablet, or watch at thousands of merchant locations nationwide to conveniently make purchases, all without reaching for your wallet.

Using your cards within your Mobile Wallet still offers you all the rewards, benefits and protection that your Midland States Bank debit card already provides. When you make purchases through your Mobile Wallet, all transactions are monitored by the same security and privacy that protects your Midland debit cards. Further, debit card numbers are not stored on your device and are never shared with the merchant, so it is even safer than a regular debit card purchase.

    1. Launch Samsung Pay by hitting "Get Started"
    2. Establish a PIN number
    3. Hit the plus sign to load a card
    4. Allow the application to take pictures
    5. Follow prompts to upload cards

    How to Use

    1. Once your wallet is loaded with cards, swipe up from bottom of screen
    2. Select the card you want to use for payment
    3. Click PIN to pay with Samsung Pay PIN
    4. Enter your PIN number
    5. Hold your device over the Card/NFC Reader  
    6. Confirm payment with cashier
    7. To view transactions, go to Card Details by clicking on the image of the card. Wallet will show payment and card transactions under Card Details.

    Settings, Help, Notices, Promotions, are available by tapping the three dots in the upper right corner.

    1. Launch Apple Wallet app
    2. Hit the blue plus sign to load a card
    3. Allow the application to take pictures
    4. Follow the prompts to upload the card you want to use for payment
    5. Verify your card information

    How to Use

    1. Once your wallet is loaded with cards, launch your Apple Wallet app
    2. Select the card you want to use for payment
    3. Hold your device over the Card/NFC Reader  
    4. Confirm payment with cashier
    5. To view transactions, go to Card Details by clicking on the image of the card. Wallet will show payment and card transactions under Card Details.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    Does Midland charge a fee to use mobile wallet?

    No, there’s no charge from Midland to use mobile wallet for debit cards, but message and data restrictions that apply as part of mobile service may apply through the mobile provider.

    Where do I go to download or install my card in a mobile wallet?

    Locate and click the wallet icon on your mobile device and follow the prompts to upload each card within your wallet.

    When I use mobile wallet, how is the transaction processed?

    A debit card transaction made with mobile wallet is the same as a regular debit card transactions. Online banking and monthly account statements will look identical to traditional debit card transactions as well.

    Is my information secure if my device is lost or stolen?

    No one can use your account without access to your mobile wallet and through the security in place on your mobile device. If your mobile device is lost or stolen, you should contact your mobile service provider to deactivate your device.

    How is my information protected?

    By using mobile wallet and Apple Pay or Samsung Pay, your card information is never shared with the merchant. When you make a purchase, a digital account number along with a dynamic transaction specific code is used to process your payment. This means that your actual credit or debit card number is never transmitted with the payment to the merchant.

    Can I make mobile wallet purchases on my tablet?

    Yes, mobile wallet can be used to make purchases on compatible tablets to make purchases within participating mobile apps. Specific details are available through your tablet provider.

    Can I make mobile wallet purchases using my Apple Watch?

    Yes, Apple pay is available on the Apple Watch and can be used to make purchases in-store at participating merchants. The Apple Watch can’t be used to make in-app purchases at this time.

    Can I add my debit and credit cards on multiple devices?

    Yes, you can add multiple Midland States Bank debit cards on multiple compatible devices.

    How do I remove a card from my mobile wallet?

    To remove a card for mobile wallet, simply select the card in the wallet on your mobile device, scroll to the bottom and locate the remove card option. After deleting, you can re-add a card at any time.

    What should I do when I receive a replacement card?

    When a Midland States Bank debit card enrolled in mobile wallet expires or is replaced due to loss, damage, theft or fraud, you will need to manually delete your existing card information and enroll your new card.

    What happens if I replace, update or lose my device?

    If you replace or update your phone, your cards will not be transferred automatically. You will need to set up your wallet again and add your cards on the new device.
